Welcome to Bethlehem!
Over two millennia ago, a Jewish couple journeyed from the city of Nazareth to Bethlehem. There, they found shelter in a cave where the woman gave birth to a baby boy who would later become a significant and controversial Jewish Rabbi, laying the foundation for what would become Christianity. The Church of the Nativity now stands above this cave, preserving its sanctity as a revered site.
At the foot of the mountain where the Church of the Nativity and the cave are located, stands a century-old residence known as the Holy Land House. This property, encompassing 2,240 square meters (approximately 0.55 acres), shares a boundary with the monastery of the Church of the Nativity.
